Membership FAQs.
Clear answers about FBIA's annual membership categories and sponsorship tiers.
What membership categories does FBIA offer?
FBIA offers two annual membership categories: Non-Profit ESO or Single Individual at $150 per year, and For-Profit ESO & Service Provider at $300 per year. Both run for twelve months from enrollment.
How is FBIA membership different from sponsorship?
Membership is the annual affiliation that makes your organization or individual capacity part of the association. Sponsorship is a separate, voluntary contribution at one of four tiers — Local Team Captain ($500), Emerging Leader ($750), Local Team Champion ($1,000), and Sustainer ($5,000) — that supports FBIA programming.
Who should choose the Non-Profit / Single Individual category?
This category is intended for non-profit entrepreneurial support organizations as well as individuals (such as program directors, consultants, or advocates) who want to participate in FBIA as an individual member.
Who should choose the For-Profit & Service Provider category?
For-profit entrepreneurial support organizations and service providers (firms supporting startups and ESOs in Florida) should enroll in this category.
How long does membership last?
Both membership categories are annual — they are valid for twelve months from the date of enrollment and renew on the same anniversary date.
